Dental Sealants
Thin protective coatings for back teeth that prevent 80% of cavities over 2 years. Ideal for children and adults who want extra protection against decay.

Clean the Tooth
We thoroughly clean and dry the tooth surface to prepare it for the sealant.
Apply the Sealant
We paint the liquid sealant material onto the grooves and pits of the chewing surface.
Harden and Check
A special curing light hardens the sealant in seconds. We check your bite to ensure comfort.
Are sealants only for kids?+
No. While sealants are most commonly applied when molars first come in during childhood, adults can benefit too—especially if you're cavity-prone or have deep grooves in your back teeth. Coverage varies by insurance for adults, so check with our front desk.
How long do sealants last?+
Sealants can last several years with proper care. We'll check them at your regular dental visits and can reapply them if needed.
Do sealants replace brushing and flossing?+
Absolutely not. Sealants are an extra layer of protection, not a substitute for good oral hygiene. You still need to brush twice a day, floss daily, and visit us for regular cleanings and checkups.
