What is CEREC?

CEREC uses CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing) technology to take impressions quickly and generate a precisely fitted restoration in a single visit. Instead of messy impression materials and multiple appointments, we can design and create your crown, bridge, or veneer right here in our Lebanon office—often in just one visit.

How CEREC Works

Digital Scanning Camera

A special 3D camera takes digital impressions that create a virtual model of your teeth. This means:

• No more messy impression trays – the digital scanner is comfortable and quick
• Greater accuracy – digital impressions capture details traditional materials can miss
• Faster process – we can begin designing your restoration immediately

High-Tech Computer Design

Our advanced software designs your crown, bridge, or veneer with micrometer precision. We control every detail to ensure a perfect fit, and you can watch the process in real time. It's a great opportunity to see exactly what we're creating for your smile.

In-House Milling and Furnace

Our milling unit precisely crafts your tooth-colored restoration from a solid block of high-quality ceramic:

• Veneers mill in about 10 minutes
• Crowns take approximately 20–30 minutes
• Bridges require about 40 minutes

After milling, your restoration goes into our furnace to harden (10–25 minutes). Then it's ready to fit, polish, and bond—all in the same appointment.
